2026 UNIQ x UAAT Workshop

The UNIQ (University Alliance of NTU, UIUC, and KU) will host the 2026 UNIQ x UAAT Workshop, from June 16 to 18, 2026, at National Taiwan University in Taipei. This workshop is a pivotal event designed to foster collaboration and synergy among researchers from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), National Taiwan University (NTU), and Kyushu University (KU). This workshop is strategically designed for the faculty members of UAAT who are interested in preparing a new proposal.

UNIQ（國立台灣大學、伊利諾大學厄巴納-香檳分校及九州大學聯盟）將於2026年6月16日至18日，在台北的國立台灣大學主辦「2026 UNIQ x UAAT 研討會」。本次研討會是一項關鍵活動，旨在促進美國伊利諾伊大學厄巴納-香檳分校（UIUC）、國立臺灣大學（NTU）及日本九州大學（KU）研究人員之間的合作與協同效應。本研討會專為有意籌備新提案的UAAT成員設計。

The theme of this year’s workshop, “Transition to Better Synergies for Stronger Success,” focuses on moving away from individual research silos toward high-impact, multi-institutional alliances. By participating, you will gain the tools to harmonize your expertise with premier university partners and the strategic power of programs like UAAT and SPARK Taiwan.

今年研討會的主題「邁向更佳協同效應，成就更輝煌的成功」，著重於擺脫個別研究的孤島狀態，轉向具高度影響力的跨機構聯盟。透過參與本次活動，您將獲得與頂尖大學合作夥伴整合專業知識的工具，並掌握如 UAAT 及 SPARK Taiwan 等計畫所蘊含的戰略優勢。

The workshop will feature a blend of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, all aimed at equipping attendees with the knowledge and resources needed to build successful collaborations. We encourage all interested faculty members of UAAT to attend as this workshop will provide valuable insights and networking opportunities to enhance your chances of success in the application process. 本次工作坊將結合主題演講、專題討論及互動環節，所有活動皆旨在為與會者提供建立成功合作關係所需的知識與資源。我們誠摯邀請所有有興趣的 UAAT 教職員踴躍參加，因為本次工作坊將提供寶貴的見解與交流機會，以提升您在申請過程中的成功機率。期待與您見面！

The workshop consists of a three-day program. The first day will be dedicated to keynote speeches and panel discussions on building stronger synergies for better success, with sessions on how to build successful collaborations and leverage the resources of UAAT and SPARK Taiwan. The second day will be dedicated to using AI and machine learning for advanced research and higher education. The third day will be reserved for interactive sessions and networking opportunities, where attendees can connect with potential collaborators and discuss their research ideas in a more informal setting.

本次工作坊為期三天。首日將專注於主題演講及小組討論，探討如何建立更強大的協同效應以取得更大成功，並設有專題講座，內容涵蓋如何建立成功的合作關係，以及如何善用 UAAT 與 SPARK Taiwan 的資源。第二天將聚焦於人工智慧與機器學習在尖端研究及高等教育中的應用。第三天則安排互動環節與交流機會，與會者可在較為輕鬆的氛圍中結識潛在合作夥伴，並討論各自的研究構想。
